Micro blog #3 – saving blogging time during Summer.
Alongside Leeds Postcards, the Biff cartoons remain a fond memory from the 1970s/80s for their skilful debunking of the pretentiousness of ‘right-on’ types desperate to maintain their street credibility – people like me in other words!
Here’s one of my favourites:
It’s August so it’s officially Summer. For most of the month I will be posting ‘Micro-Blogs’ with no more than 50 words linked to images I find funny, poignant or otherwise aesthetically pleasing. The first shows the plight of ‘another new man’ who finds it hard to control his natural urges :
