If you are getting depressed about ageing this short film about 81 year-old New York based artist Arnold Wechsler should cheer you up . Always be willing to try new things is his simple but inspiring message. The film was made by my friend Riley Hooper who has just recently joined the team at Vimeo and makes excellent micro-documentaries of her own.
It coincides with Wechsler’s show “Paintings, Prints and Drawings from Burning Man” which opened on September 15th, 2011 at Gallery 307, as part of a program at the Carter Burden Center for the Aging.
