Vintage - like me!

Today is my birthday, so happy birthday to me!

What I did:

  • Had a 90 minute workout in the gym this morning  and a one hour siesta this afternoon.
  • Bought a new pair of running shoes +  a T-shirt that boasts of absorbing sweat.
  • Did a random google under ‘born 1958’ to see who else is as ancient as I am – this includes Madonna, Grandmaster Flash & Jello Biafra.
  • Through the same search I discovered cool images of virtual artist Jennifer Steinkamp : “an installation artist who works with video and new media in order to explore ideas about architectural space, motion, and perception“.
  • Found that I share my birthday with Frank Black, Andrei Tarkovsky & Muddy Waters.
  • Continued downloading limited edition Pocahaunted tapes & albums.  A forthcoming blog entry will celebrate this freaky duo from California.
  • Watched ‘The Visitor’ – a beautiful and touching movie about loneliness and drumming
