Psyching mayself up to re-read David Foster Wallace‘s immense brick of a novel ‘Infinite Jest’ this summer – though I guess I got less of 50% of this first time around – it was enough to recognise a work of genius.
Picked up a collection of essays as training (Consider The Lobster) and found a good reading on YouTube from the University of Contemporary Art, San Diego which illustrates his effortlessly cool credentials – he’s one of those writers who you feel could describe anything and make you see that snippet of the world through fresh eyes.
