I haven’t troubled to watch an full interview with Sarah Palin until now, relying on second hand reports. I hadn’t fully appreciated the level of ignorance this woman has. A comment on one of the You Tube video put it well, saying that to elect Sarah Palin as vice president is about as safe as letting kids play with explosives.

Unfortunately, why should that matter? Bush he was elected twice (well, kinda). Never overestimate the American electorate.
Unfortunately, you’re right – the more dumbed down the debate and analysis is the more Palin gets to be portrayed as in touch with real people – I hope and pray the American electorate can see through the sham but I don’t overestimate them!
As Bill Bailey said, Americans just want a preacher, as long as you say God, Jesus, and 9/11 in a rough order, you should be OK…her likeness to Tina Fey though distresses me…
